46.3 million yen in benefits transferred to one household

According to the breaking news, a Japanese local municipality accidentally transferred 46.3 million yen(about $356,000) to one household. The money was intended to assist low-income families, but the town mistakenly transferred the money to one family on April 8.

The person who received the money said, "The money was moved to a separate account and cannot be restored." They say, "I will pay for my crime," and refuse to return the money.

Even more surprisingly, old floppy disks were used to exchange data between the town and financial institutions. However, the cause was not a floppy disk but a human error by a staff member.
