AI recreates the voice of his deceased wife.

Koya Matsuo, a 64-year-old writer from Tokyo, has used AI to recreate the singing voice of his late wife, Toshiko. She passed away 10 years ago due to breast cancer. Mr. Matsuo trained the AI on 20 minutes of audio data containing Toshiko's singing and speaking voice. He uses a voice changer to convert his own singing voice into that of Toshiko. The entire process takes only 10 minutes, and he has already created 16 songs. Additionally, using AI, he has also created images of Toshiko. Mr. Matsuo believes that while listening to old recordings is nice, creating new memories can also be a good thing.

東京とうきょう在住ざいじゅうのライター、松尾まつお公也こうやさん（64歳さい）は、10年ねん前まえに乳にゅうがんで亡なくなった妻つま・敏子としこさんの歌声うたごえを生成せいせいAIを用もちいて再現さいげんしています。松尾まつおさんは、敏子としこさんの歌声うたごえや喋しゃべり声こえなど20分ふんの音源おんげんを生成せいせいAIに学習がくしゅうさせ、ボイスチェンジャーを用もちいて自分じぶんの歌声うたごえを敏子としこさんの声こえに変換へんかんしています。制作せいさく時間じかんはわずか10分ふんで、これまでに16曲きょくを制作せいさく。敏子としこさんの画像がぞうもAIで生成うみなしており、松尾まつおさんは「スマートフォンに残のこっているものを何度なんども聞きいていくのも、それはそれでいいんですけど、思おもい出でを新あらたに作つくることがあってもいいのではないか」と語かたっています。
