Banpeiyu, a fruit larger than your face, harvested in Oita

At "Nodayama Kindergarten" in Oita City, harvesting experiences of citrus fruits such as Banpeiyu and Pearl Citrus were conducted, with approximately 80 preschoolers participating. The children plucked the ripe Banpeiyu and Pearl Citrus one after another, tasting them on the spot. The harvested Banpeiyu will be used in school meals, mainly as desserts. Participating children shared their impressions, expressing experiences like "It was heavy enough to make my arms tired" and "It had a slightly sour smell when picked," creating a shared and enjoyable experience.

大分市おおいたしの「のだ山やま幼稚ようち園えん」では、ばんぺいゆやパールぱーる柑かんといったかんきつ類るいの収穫しゅうかく体験たいけんが行おこなわれ、年長ねんちょうのおおよそ80人にんの園児えんじが参加さんかしました。子こどもたちは、実みのったばんぺいゆやパールぱーる柑かんを次々つぎつぎと摘つみ取とり、その場ばで味あじわいました。収穫しゅうかくしたばんぺいゆは給食きゅうしょくのデザートなどに使つかわれる予定よていで、参加さんかした子こどもたちは「腕うでが疲つかれるぐらい重おもかった」「取とったときにすっぱそうな匂においがした」といった感想かんそうを述のべ、楽たのしい経験けいけんを共有きょうゆうしました。
