I reckon I stumbled upon this "Rubber Day" buzz on X, straight outta Japan. Checked it out and turns out, 5 translates to "Go" and 6 is "Mu" like in "Muttsu" in Japanese, so the combo rolls into "Gomu" aka "Rubber (Gomu) Day". Now, down under, "rubber" usually means something else, but seems like in Japan it's got a different vibe, more like slang for condoms. The feeds on X were all lit up with this theme.
