福岡県警によると、本日北九州市の河川敷の草むらで、ヤクザの武器庫と思われる箱が発見されたとのことです。中にはロケットランチャーや手榴弾、拳銃など複数の武器があり、警察は今後、これらの武器が犯罪に使われたかどうかを調べるため、徹底的な捜査を計画とのこと。
発見したのは河川敷を散歩中の70代の夫婦で、プラスチック製の箱は腰ほどの高さの有刺鉄線で囲まれていたそうです。
北九州の暴力団といえば日本で最も危険なヤクザと言われる「工藤会」が有名ですが、その箱は彼らと関係があるのでしょうか？

A box thought to contain a Yakuza weapons cache was discovered today in a grassy area near a river in Kitakyushu, according to the Fukuoka Prefectural Police. Inside the box were various weapons, including rocket launchers, grenades, and pistols. The police are planning a thorough investigation to determine if these weapons have been used in any past criminal activities.
The discovery was made by a couple in their 70s while they were walking along the riverside. The box, made of plastic, was surrounded by waist-high barbed wire.
