ゴールデンウィークの夜、東京都庁をゴジラが占拠ました。 しかし、幸いなことに都庁は無事で、現在も通常通り営業しています。
というのも実は、これは東京都が新たな観光名所を作るために企画したもので、ゴジラはプロジェクションマッピングに過ぎなかったのです。都庁では、ゴジラが突如出現し、都庁の迎撃ミサイルと対決するシーンを投影しました。 この日は多くの観光客や家族連れが足を止めて、このプロジェクションマッピングに見入っていました。
このパフォーマンスは1回6分間で、5月6日までは19時から1時間に3回、 5月11日以降は19時30分からの投影となります。
都庁のプロジェクションマッピングは世界最大級で、ギネスブックにも認定されているとのことです。

Godzilla Attacks the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building
At night during Golden Week, Godzilla took over the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Fortunately, however, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office is safe and continues to operate as usual today.
In fact, this was planned by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to create a new tourist attraction and Godzilla was merely a projection mapping. The TMG projected a scene of Godzilla’s sudden appearance and confrontation with TMG’s interceptor. Many tourists and families stopped to watch this projection performance.
This performance lasts 6 minutes and will be projected three times an hour starting at 7:00 p.m. until May 6th and at 7:30 p.m. after May 11th.
The projection mapping at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building is the largest in the world and has been recognized by the Guinness Book of Records.
