北海道ほっかいどうに住すむ日本にほんの同性愛者どうせいあいしゃが、同性どうせい同士どうしの結婚けっこんが認みとめられていないのは憲法けんぽうに違反いはんするとして国くにを訴うったえた裁判さいばんで、札幌さっぽろ高等こうとう裁判所さいばんしょは、「人ひとと人ひととの間あいだの自由じゆうな結むすびつきとして、同性どうせい間かんの婚姻こんいんについても異性いせい間かんの場合ばあいと同おなじ程度ていどに保証ほしょうすべき」という初はじめての判決はんけつを下くだしました。原告げんこくの中谷なかや衣里えりさんは「望のぞんでいた違憲いけん判決はんけつが出でてすごくうれしいです。もしかすると裁判さいばんは続つづくかもしれないので引ひき続つづき応援おうえんしてほしい」と喜よろこびのコメントを発表はっぴょうしました。今後こんごはこの判決はんけつを元もとに、日本にほんでも同性どうせい婚こんが認みとめられる可能性かのうせいがあります。

First Ruling in Japan to Recognize Same-Sex Marriage

In a case in which Japanese homosexuals living in Hokkaido sued the government, claiming that the lack of recognition of same-sex marriages violates the Constitution, the Sapporo High Court ruled for the first time that "same-sex marriages should be guaranteed to the same extent as opposite-sex marriages, as a free association between people. Ms. Kori Nakatani, the plaintiff, said, "I am very happy that the court ruled the case unconstitutional, which I had hoped for. The trial may continue, so please continue to support us.
