This is mainly due to the rise in raw material and labor costs caused by the Corona disaster. In Japan, a bowl of ramen typically costs 1,000 yen (about $6.6), but due to recent price hikes, it has become difficult to make a profit at this rate. In contrast, a bowl of ramen at Ichiran, a well-known Japanese ramen restaurant in the U.S., costs $22 (about $3,000), indicating a growing difference in prices between Japan and the U.S.
