Japan's GDP drops to 4th in the world.

Germany has surpassed Japan to become the 3rd largest economy in the world in terms of GDP. While Japan's GDP was $4.216 trillion, Germany's was $4.4561 trillion, indicating that Japan's economy has been reduced due to the weak yen, low growth, and deflation. Japan once had the world's second largest economy, but now it has been overtaken by China in 2010 and Germany in 2019. Since Japan's bubble economy burst, deflation and low growth have persisted, and the depreciation of the yen has resulted in a decrease of Japan's economy when converted to dollars. In contrast, Germany has experienced higher price inflation, leading to higher nominal GDP growth even with the same level of growth. The question remains, what will be the future of Japan's economy?
