In the Noto Peninsula Earthquake on January 1, 2024, during the Reiwa 6 era, many Shinkansen passengers found themselves spending an extended period inside the train. Among them was the family of Timuraz Lezhava, the Ambassador of Georgia to Japan. Their concern about not bringing enough food was alleviated by the "osechi bento" received from the Imperial Family, served during the "New Year's Celebration Ceremony" at the Imperial Palace. Ambassador Lezhava reported on the situation during the Shinkansen's stop after the earthquake and later shared a photo of his family enjoying the osechi meal. 2024年ねん1月がつ1日にちの令りょう和わ6年ねん能登のと半島はんとう地震じしんにおいて、多おおくの新幹線しんかんせんの乗客じょうきゃくが長時間ちょうじかん車内しゃないで過すごすこととなりました。ジョージアのティムラズ・レジャバ駐日ちゅうにち大使たいしの家族かぞくもその一員いちいんでした。彼かれらが心配しんぱいしていたのは、ほとんど食料しょくりょうを持参じさんしていなかったことでしたが、それを救すくったのは「皇室こうしつより賜たまったおせち弁当べんとう」でした。この弁当べんとうは、皇居こうきょで行おこなわれた「新年しんねん祝賀しゅくがの儀ぎ」で提供ていきょうされたもので、大使たいしは地震じしん発生はっせい後ごの停車ていしゃ中ちゅうの新幹線しんかんせんでの状況じょうきょうやその後あとの様子ようすを報告ほうこくし、家族かぞくで皇室こうしつのおせちを食たべている写真しゃしんを公開こうかい。その後ご、新幹線しんかんせんは最寄もよりの駅えきで停車ていしゃし、宿泊しゅくはくすることになりましたが、駅員えきいんや他ほかの乗客じょうきゃくの温あたたかい心遣こころづかいに感謝かんしゃの意いを示しめしました。翌日よくじつには臨時りんじバスで長野ながの駅えきまで向むかい、帰京ききょうできたことを報告ほうこくしています。この投稿とうこうには多おおくの感謝かんしゃの声こえが寄よせられました。
